Hello everyone, I hope you all are having an amazing week! I am sharing with you all another one of my original poems. This poem is something that I wrote going through some emotions and this was how I expressed them. I hope you all enjoy reading this poem and I plan to continue to share them with you all!
Night Sky Eyes
Why must you be so difficult to figure out?
You have these eyes.
These eyes hold more than the color of the night sky.
A presence that can be so cold, so mysterious yet so interesting.
I want to know more about you.
Your words.
The words you say have such strong meaning.
You don’t even realize it, or do you?
Your tone of voice is calming, relaxing, reassuring.
I want to know why?
You act tough like nothing can bother you.
Deep down, I know you have a heart.
You have feelings that you don’t want anyone to know about.
You have a past that you cover up with your charm and good looks.
I want to know why must you hide this?
You can be so weird at times.
Moments that most people would want to push away from.
But for some reason, it keeps pulling me closer to you.
I’m intrigued to see what you will do next.
I want to know what you will come up with.
Your sense of humor is what most people would call interesting.
You can be really funny at times.
You also know how to have a good time.
You put yourself first and there’s nothing wrong with that.
I want to know what it’s like inside your brain.
I’m sure you have a soft side to you.
I know it can be difficult to see.
I know that deep down in your heart, you care about people.
You just don’t know how to show it.
I want you to know that I will show it to you, just give me a chance.
