Hello wonderful people, I hope that the month of March is treating you all well. In this post, I thought I share with all of you a post dedicated to all things that you need to survive college. Whether you are online or in-person, this post will surely help you get through college.
UV Blue Light Glasses
Wear these anytime you are working on a screen.
Helps you to not strain your eyes.
Erasable Pens
Highly recommend these! I use these all the time.
They write very smoothly, erase great, and come in many different colors.
They are great for taking fast paced lecture notes.
Planner
One of the most useful tools for college.
This will help you keep all your assignments, deadlines, appointments, etc. organized.
This will also help you stay ahead and know what needs to be done.
Sticky Notes
Write anything you want on these.
Super helpful for reminders and deadlines
Use these for note taking, pointing out important information, etc.
Portable Laptop Lap Desk
Now that classes are online, this is super helpful to put your computer on and work.
This keeps the computer elevated and reduces body aches.
Multiple Subject Notebooks
A great way to organize your notes all in one notebook.
If you have a one subject notebook, that perfectly fine; use whatever works for you.
Also, for math, I recommend using a graph paper notebook. It is very helpful when creating graphs.
Highlighters
An easy way to emphasize important words and definitions.
Super cheap and you can buy them anywhere.
Laptop
With working from home and taking online classes, you will need a laptop/computer.
Yes, they are quite pricey, but this a very helpful and useful investment.
File Folders
A convenient and easy way to keep all important papers and syllabi together.
Use color coded folders for different classes and subjects.
Not only does this keep everything organized, but you know where everything is.
Mechanical Pencils
Honestly, any type of pencil is fine.
I personally prefer mechanical pencils because you do not have to sharpen them and you can reuse them over an dover again.
I think that they are more convenient for note taking and working on math problems.
Extra Things To Have
Snacks
Something to motivate yourself to complete homework.
A must have! Stay away from sugary bars and focus more on natural ingredients.
Reusable Water Bottle
Instead of wasting money on bottled water, you can use a reusable water bottle and use it again and again.
Also, you can put tea, coffee, smoothies, and much more in it!
